Arbella’s "Distractology 101" program is a simulated computer-based training tour, and the first of its kind. This program is funded by the Arbella Insurance Group Charitable Foundation and was created to provide education designed to put an end to distracted driving. The training simulators are housed in a 36-foot, neon-yellow trailer, outfitted with state-of-the art technology to give new drivers (usually teenagers) a real-life look at the potentially disastrous effects of distracted driving. The technology for the simulators was designed by UMass Amherst in partnership with Arbella and will go on tour across the state beginning May 3rd.
